Masak Lemak Labu Merah (Pumpkin)
Labu Merah Masak Lemak is my favourite food. It is best to cook it with salted fish. If no salted fish, dried prawn is a good alternative.
The dried prawn is best crushed or ground. No need to crush salted fish.
The pumpkin is best cooked until it is soft and some portion of the pumpkin mixing with the gravy. The gravy tastes better if it contains pumpkin flesh.
Milk is a good substitute because it is readily available. It tastes delicious also.
Just use crushed red unions and ginger. No need to use garlic. The garlic may spoil the taste of the pumpkin.
