Double Outdoor Camping Tent Ultralight Nylon Inside and Outside Tent Full Set Pyramid Pole Less Tent Equipment 2
Note that this is version 2. The straps are different from the previous version. I notice the straps for the Inner Tent is wider.
Ground sheet is canvas 66 inch wide, 167.6 cm. 104 inch long, 264.1 cm.
For the Outer Tent, weighing 744 g, the straps ate provided at the centre of the side walls. The side walls also have extra straps at the ground.
There are:
10 line-less straps.
2 straps for lines.
For the Inner Tent, weighing at 551 g, there are:
5 line-less straps.
You can see the Superglue used to fix loosed threads.
The reading was 45 degC. This is slightly hotter than Dome tents. You can reduce it by installing a Tarp on top of it. It is too hot because ventillation is poor. Opening half of the Vestibule may help reduce heat.
The reading is cooler at 41 degC with opposing half doors open.
Front Vestibule doors open. This should be the standard shelter configuration. The inner tent occupies the other half of the Vestibule doors at the back.
Temperature dropped to 35 degC. The pegs came off so some water managed to get inside.
I do not have earth space to peg at the correct spaces but the tent stands strong. For optimum result it should be better to provide 4 pegs on the ground, and a peg to the string attached to the pole and the top of the inner tent.
You can share the pegs for the inner tent with the outer tent but the height of the inner tent is too low. The inner tent is 140 cm wide while the outer tent is 160 cm wide. The pole is located at the centre of the outer tent, at 80 cm from the edge, while the inner tent is at 70 cm. Moving the inner tent by 10 cm allows the centre of the inner tent to be tied to the pole at its highest height. It also makes the inner tent more water proof because it is further from the outer tent.
Similarly along the length of the tents. It should be around 15 cm but I managed to just push in about 5 cm because the pegs of the outer tent are actually less than 270 cm along the length.
A Youtube review.
Used in Kokol Mama Hill Campsite
Not properly tightened because I attemped to share some pegs.
It caused some flapping which were annoying so I ended up installing 11 pegs, 5 inner, 8 outer pegs. If necessary, we can add two distant pegs for the 2 outer wall ties, but I did not install them. Strong enough for the conditions at that time.
