Easiest but Most Delicious Food
The Tom Yum paste is the easiest food recipe that I know. Extremely flexible because you can cook all types of food deliciously. It is hot but it is just as hot as curry.
I modify the recipe by adding milk. The soup becomes more tasty and nutricious. You can add more chili to make it even hotter but more nutricious. Adding vegetables and mixing meat are other options but they increase cost and cooking time.
Another recipe is curry which was my staple diet when studying in London. If cooked properly, curry is delicious and more forgiving compared to soups. We now have curry pastes as well but they are for specific types of food.
I find it more difficult to cook compared to Tom Yum. Tom Yum is a type of soup because it is light so curry is more filling. The most delicious type of dish to me is the Biryani Rice followed by steak.
Steak is another convenient food that I practised while studying. I eat fried beef with chapati almost daily. As we grow old, not advisable to eat too much meat and beef is always the most expensive food.
If we have fresh food, the best is just to boil or grill them. Not so easy and I have not mastered the art of removing the smell of these raw food by just boiling them.
