1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water,
10 minutes boil on stove
10 minutes covered out of stove

The technique is to boil until dry, then with cover, let steam cook the remaining time.

Tent I broke one leg of my tent because I did not bother to read its instructions. The instructions are clear and pictorial. No way we can make a mistake if we bother to look at the one page of pictorial insyruction. The most important is to pull the links when we want to bend the links. When packing, bend the topmost links first. Need to remove pegs first. I did not remove my pegs so the links are difficult to pull. I need to pull bend the lower links first and that caused difficulties. The good news is the broken link can be patched up and reinforced with an extra pole taped to the legs and through the leg fittings. My attempts to fix the broken jojnts using superglue and epoxy failed. If the joints are made from PVC, we may be able to use PVC solvent, to join and reinforce the joints. I notice the straps for the Inner Tent is wider. No string is required but you can add 2 strings to the side walls which you cannot see in this picture. Outer Tent Around Video Ground sheet is canvas 66 inch wide, 167.6 cm. 104 inch long, 264.1 cm.  For the Outer Tent, weighing 744 g, the straps ate provided at the centre of the side walls. The side walls also have extra straps at the ground. There are: 10 line-less straps. 2 straps for lines. For the Inner Tent, weighing at 551 g, there are: 5 line-less straps.
